There are many different ways you can get involved with FOSP and help make a difference in your local park.
Become a member of FOSP
- Please set up a standing order for just £5 a year. You can do this by filling in and signing this form (It’s a PDF file. You may need to right-click and select “Save link as…” or similar), and sending it back to us by email or dropping it by the hut (make sure we’re there first by checking our hut page!)
Volunteer to open the hut
- Give other people the opportunity to enjoy the basic kitchen facilities, toilets, sports equipment and lots of toys. You can find out more about the hut here.
Volunteer to help out at events
- Join us at events such as the Stoneydown Park Folk Festival in June and other fundraising activities. We are always in need of more people to bake cakes, help out on stalls, set up gazebos and generally lend a hand.
Join the FOSP committee
- We are currently a small group of individuals who meet monthly to plan improvements and discuss issues in the park as well as organise fundraising events. We’d welcome some new faces.
